Forensic Review

Our team carried out a forensic audit of the contents and activities of selected employee laptops.  We created a snapshot backup of the hard-drives to preserve original data integrity and printed the directory tree structure to gain an understanding of how application and data files were stored on the hard drives.  We then executed an email and internet “sniffer” utility to identify all URL’s visited as well as email correspondents and performed a search and physical scan for common user-created files.  Our team used state of the art software for this engagement, which was specifically designed to retrieve deleted data.  Our final reports presented an objective presentation of the contents of the laptop’s hard-drive.
