George Barkwell CA, CMC, President

George has 20 years of experience management consulting, and a strong track record in creating organizational improvement and growth for his clients. A partner in two major accounting and consulting firms before forming GD Barkwell & Associates, he transformed traditional firms into market leaders using creativity and applied business fundamentals.

He has extensive experience in strategic planning, governance, process mapping and innovation, business process re-engineering, technology assessment and supply chain management. He formed GD Barkwell & Associates Ltd. to bring those capabilities to select clients, and has worked in all levels of government, manufacturing, construction, not for profits, and services industries.

George is Past Chair of the Board of Trustees of Brock University and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for The Faculty of Business, Brock University. He is regularly a featured speaker at seminars and conferences and was recently appointed to the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants/Canadian Association of Management Consultants Joint Liaison Committee.

Ginny Jones, Senior Consultant

Over the past two years, Ginny has provided communications counsel, strategic communications/change plans, research, facilitation and reporting services.  She has also worked with high tech, hospitality, communications, academic and health care clients on a variety of business transformation initiatives.   Ginny’s approach to each project combines standard communications practices with a thorough understanding of how to design organizational structure and align behaviour and processes to support business goals
